Read information below on the program, travel and accommodation, pre-materials to be completed, and get to know our speakers during the Arrival Orientation.
This a family-friendly event, so if you have spouse and/or children with you, they are warmly welcome to come to join us for the orientation and to most of the orientation events, with a few exceptions:
Please note that some of the program can be tiring for small children and unfortunately we can't organize separate program for family members. We have marked the family friendly sessions in the program. For short term child care, please see e.g. the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare.
The family members’ travel to and from the orientation must be covered by the grantee. Please let us know in the registration survey if your family members would like to participate in some parts of the orientation so that we can plan for meals and local transportation.
As the program is still being finalized, there is a chance that some parts of the program will be for grantees only due to space limitations.
We will not be able to get money back if we reserve meals and accommodation for family members who do not show up. You will not receive a confirmation message from SurveyMonkey after filling in the registration form (you will be redirected to www.fulbright.fi frontpage after you have submitted your answers). Thus we recommend writing down which events your family members will be attending in.
We will be adding the itinerary on this page closer to the orientation, and it also includes joining family members' information.
