Fulbright Teachers’ Online Education Extravaganza
Welcome to the Fulbright Teachers’ Online Education Extravaganza!
The Education Extravaganza explores U.S. and Finnish teachers’ Fulbright projects, experiences and takeaways from their time as Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching grantees during the spring 2020 in Finland and in the U.S. This online event provides an opportunity to hear about the teachers’ preliminary inquiry project findings, focusing on variety of phenomena in the field of education. It also highlights observations and key takeaways from classrooms in the U.S. and Finland.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Fulbright teachers’ programs were cut short but their individual projects and takeaways remain important and topical. Through this online Education Extravaganza participating teachers have an opportunity to present preliminary findings from their projects and receive feedback and comments from their peers and education professionals.
The event is by invitation only.
The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching program is funded by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and is administered in the U.S. by IREX, and by the Fulbright Finland Foundation in Finland.
